Wisdom 08 – Little Joys (Digital)

Orphaned albino elephant, Khanyisa’s brave journey of survival, rehabilitation and integration into her new family, the Jabulani herd, has inspired us to share some of the life lessons that Khanyisa, the Jabulani herd and our elephant care team have taught us and the world along the way.

There have been lessons in perseverance, teamwork, optimism, compassion, strength, courage, family, friendship, loyalty, independence, integrity, confidence and so much more. Lessons that we can all relate to in our own relationships with loved ones and ourselves.

We have collaborated with a young South African female artist, Maryke Vosloo, to share these “ele-wisdoms” that we have gathered and cherished in snippets of art.
